About
I am from a small agriculture community in the foothills of the Sequoia National Park: Lindsay, CA. I completed a Bachelors in Social and Behavioral Science at CSU, Monterey Bay with a concentration in Anthropology. My early research experience was on studying ancient human remains from Meso-America through skeletal analysis: Maya and Wari. I completed my Master’s in Biomedical Anthropology at Binghamton University (SUNY) in upstate NY. Currently I am the lab manager for the Kruglyak Lab at UCLA working on DNA extraction, library prep, and sequencing of yeasts, worms, and plasmids.
